Zentangle.............

Ive found a new love........................Zentangle! Actually Ive been zentangling for years but didnt realise it! Zentangle is a black ink drawing of a random shape with a series of patterns or doodles completly using your imagination to make a totally unique design. It is totally addictive and very relaxing. If you love doodling then you will love Zentangle! :)

Ive 'zentangled' some Christmas trees and made them into cards, considering I havent made a card in quite some time Im pretty pleased with the effect. Right its time to watch some telly and doodle some more Zentangles.

Finally I did something!

Well I didnt exactly get the scissors and double sided tape out but I did unearth a forgotton folder on my computer with lots of clipart and some old publishing software and remembered how much I used to enjoy digital designs. I did this A3 picture for my son Nat's bedroom wall. I love it!

Im feeling the urge to get back on the crafting wagon. Since my son Nat was born in January 2010 I havent picked up any sparkly card, double sided tape, stamps or even a sticky dot! I dont know where you guys with kids find the time to craft. By the time Ive put him to bed and Ive sat down I dont feel like getting all my stuff out. BUT its all there, still neatly away in my glorious craft cupboard and tonight is the night. My friend is getting married next month and I want to make her a special card. I made an ampersand card for my sis & bro in law a couple of years ago and want to try that again. So watch this space!

Its been a while...............

Ive been a bit preoccupied with my new venture as a Slimming World consultant since the beginning of January so havent had much time to do any crafting lately. But Birthdays still keep coming so its a case of get those scissors and cuttlebug out and get on with creating! Actually Id forgot how much I like crafting, its been nice to have a little break as now Im all motivated again! Might have to have a look thru some of the challenge blogs!
